Privacy for grown-ups
Turtle Cartoon is made for children, so this page is written for the parents and caregivers who look after them. We count visits as simply as we can — and on this site, we do it without a persistent cookie.
Last updated: October 16, 2026.
What we count
Our own analytics script folds each visit into daily totals:
- Pages viewed, time on a page, and how many visits happen in a day.
- Where visits arrived from — the referring site’s name, not a person.
- How the stories and games are used: pages turned and reached in each book, games started and finished, buttons and downloads used.
- Broad technical buckets: device type, screen-size band, browser family, language, and country.
We use the totals to learn which stories and games children enjoy and to fix what does not work. The statistics carry no names, no accounts, and nothing a child types.
No persistent cookie here
This site does not set the syb_vid cookie that our grown-up sites use, and it does not keep a first-visit record in the browser. A visit is counted with a temporary session ID that ends with the visit. Session details are folded into the day’s totals — we do not keep a per-child reading history, and there are no advertising trackers on this site.
The waitlist is for grown-ups
If a parent or caregiver joins the waitlist, we keep the email address they give us to send the one launch email the form promises. That is the whole deal: we do not sell email lists, and the analytics counts only that a signup happened — never the address itself. Please do not enter a child’s email address.
Questions or deletion
Write to [email protected]. Ask us anything about this page, or ask for a waitlist email to be removed, and we will take care of it.
